At HIMSS I evaluated medical software, 'teD'.  The product 'ted'  provides comprehensive  functionality ranging  from patient care, physician office functions, EMR management to generating automated reports. It can read data in different formats such as scanned forms, voice, text etc.; it can be integrated with bluetooth devices and can also read hand- written notes on a tablet pc.
Imagine a physician, speaking using his bluetooth device while 'teD' is converting his voice to text and taking notes to generate the report. The most impressive thing for me was the way the program generates automatic medical reports.
There were many EMR software products showcased at HIMSS'06, but 'ted' just stood apart. From what I saw, teD is the one solution to all your Healthcare office activities, it is all that you will need!

We are developing a network of consumer-driven wellness-focused providers. Our goal is 1000 providers in the state of Georgia. They will all be connected by a central data warehouse with electronic medical records.
Eventually there will be three sets of data: personal health records, the provider files, and HIPAA-compliant research data that we will swizzle to establish integrated practice units that synergistically improve outcomes.
Ultimately, our goal is to publish all the excellent cost and quality data of each provider for the consumer to use in shopping for the best healthcare.
